Fixings - The spring comes pre-tensioned, you may need to adjust this by adding more or reducing some tension, depending on the weight of your door panel.
- Suitable for doors weighing upto 90ks (40lbs) and upto 9ft wide.
- You have 2 options, standard spindles which have a larger roller for smooth operation, or anti-drop type rollers, which prevents the door from falling if the cables break – please select which option you want using the drop-down box below.
- Ideal to replace the damaged or tired gear on an old door where the existing gear, or parts of, are now obsolete. The advantage of canopy door gear over retractable door gear is on narrow doors where the springs would otherwise protrude at the side of the door, lessening the usable width of the door.
- Will suit Birtley, King and Henderson Canopy doors.

- If your door does not match one of the 5 sizes we have listed below, please contact us as we can supply these in custom sizes (returns not applicable on the custom sizes)
- EXTRAS AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE:
– Cable Lock Pack – 3 point locking for your door with external T handle, and internal handle to allow the door to be opened from the inside
– Garage Door Oil – ensures smooth operation. All moving parts should be oiled routinely to increase the life span of the gear and protect from rust. Do not use grease on garage doors.
– Motor Unit – please see the many motor units available on our website, if you need help choosing then please contact us. A bow arm converter will be needed on a canopy door.
