- UAP Kitemarked 6-Pin Euro Cylinder complete with 3 keys and fixing screw in a choice of Brass or Nickel Finish, suitable for UPVC, Aluminium & Composite Doors
- These cylinders are 1 Star on their own due to being Anti Snap, bump, pick, drill & have the kitemark logo on the front of the cylinder which also acts as a deterrent to burglars. If this lock is combined with a security handle, the combination can make it a 3 star rating. Most insurance companies specify a minimum of 1 star rating on your locks
- Manufactured to British Standard EN1303 : 2005, tested to over 100,000 cycles, BSi 1* Kitemarked – KM561977
- 1 hour Fire Rated, 3 anti-pick pins per side, 4 hardened steel anti-drill pins per side
- Please select the appropriate size cylinder for your door; for example measuring point A as 40mm and point B as 60mm you will need to order a 40/60 (100mm) cylinder. PLEASE SEE PICTURE ABOVE FOR MEASURING GUIDE.
- Double cylinder design (key will work both sides allowing door to be unlocked from outisde or inside.
- Sacrificial cut lines on both sides of the cylinder – If a would-be burglar tries to snap the cylinder (the most common break-in method), the cylinder will snap along these lines, leaving the rest of the cylinder intact and the thief unable to gain access. On a budget cylinder it would snap at the fixing screw hole, which is the weakest point, and thus allowing access to your home.

- Each cylinder is packed full of security features, and is part of UAP’s super smooth cylinders using the Chris Belcher designed anti-bump timing pin system. This very clever system uses nickel plated hardened steel key pins and driver pins, which gives the anti-drill feature we wanted to incorporate. The Patented timing pins are designed to interrupt the timing of the pins when bumped, and it is highly effective. And because we use special pins rather than trap pins, we do not have a high expense to get this anti-bump feature! The timing pins have inbuilt anti-picks, and mushroom driver pins, which makes them highly effective against picking.
