Description
- Henderson Retractable Red garage door spring for small garage doors. The doors which these springs fit have more than 1 spring fitted to each lift arm on both sides of the door. They usually have a yellow tag with a number on, this particular spring is a No.1.
- This range of springs has an elongated hook to allow the spring to clear the lift arm when the door is closing. This is unique to these Henderson retractable springs.
- Please be aware, if you try and fit other springs to your door, which should have these springs fitted, you will end up damaging your lift arms as there won’t be enough clearance and the spring hook will foul your arm. The lift arms are not available to buy. On this particular door we advise you to replace all the springs as a set so they door is balanced and does not cause twisting and wear to your lift arms.
- When replacing garage springs, it is recommended to replace both springs at the same time, to ensure the spring tension and door remain balanced. This will also prevent the door from twisting and damaging your lift arms.
- These springs are obsolete, we have a limited quantity of these springs available.
